REPORT FROM SOC

Since August 2005 we have run our Schools at Mungret College in Limerick, Ireland. This College was once an old Catholic Jesuit base to train International missionaries, but now Christ is being preached in power and purity. Students have come from across Ireland, both North and South, as well as Scotland, England, Wales, America, South Africa, Iran and Alaska. Different churches have been represented such as Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Charismatic, Baptist and Independents, yet all have been hungry to receive the Word of God. Some of the students have been mature preachers; others have been younger believers. Each of these four-week Schools without exception have been blessed with great unity among the students, as they lived together, prayed together, ate together, had fellowship together and encouraged one another. I can only say that all this has been a great joy.

At our School in February 2007, we were blessed to have Brother Clendennen with us for three weeks. Students came from around Ireland, North and South, as well as Scotland, England, Wales and America. Hearts were changed, bodies healed, prayer lives restored and hope raised up. Pastor Clendennen poured out his heart in three weeks of powerful ministry. The Spirit of God truly overshadowed us and abode with us. There was such a sense of the refreshing and encouragement of the Holy Ghost. One Irish Pastor who was about to step down from ministry was fully established in his call and is pressing ahead stronger than ever. No one wanted to move at the end of the evening sessions. We were all mightily refreshed. Each evening the sessions were open to local believers and leaders in the city and surrounding towns to attend. Many of these local Believers were greatly affected by the message of the SOC. By the end of the three weeks we had a number of people join us from Northern Ireland for the graduation. There were various clear testimonies given to God’s healing power. One young girl who had been mostly bed bound for two years was healed and is now in full health.

Our summer School started on July 23rd and ran for four weeks with students from Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Most of these students are either in ministry or will go directly after the School to the Mission field. We also ran a short School in October 2007 and our next full school will be in Feb 2008. Scattered across these lands are also leaders who are using the DVD School on a regular weekly basis to teach and build up their people gathered in homes and churches. We have been surprised at times to hear of or meet those who are doing this, of whom we were not aware. Praise God. Our hearts are burning to take the School to all of Western Europe and have it translated into these languages. Please labour with us in Prayer.

TESTIMONIES FROM SOC February 2007.

TONY (Ireland) "After a life of all kinds of sin, sickness, disease, drink, drugs and tablets; years in and out of mental hospitals with many kinds of doctors and recovery programmes, I can only say nothing worked.  Then Jesus came in to my life.  He healed me, set me free from all these things.  Nothing else worked only JESUS, JESUS, JESUS.  Thank you Jesus for setting me free and saving my life and soul." As Pastor Clendennen said, he preached Tony all the way from the back of the church to the front row.  The transformation in this man was visible and evident to all those at the school and the local church who have known him for a number of years.  By the graduation he was barely recognizable and a number of folk thought that the man with a shining countenance and brand new suit was Tony's brother.  Tony's family who had never heard the gospel came to see him graduate.  On departing from their homestead, Tony told them, "If you think you are coming to see me graduate or hear about Tony you are wrong. You are going to hear about Jesus, Jesus, Jesus."  We praise God and give Him all the glory and thanks for the work He did in Tony's life.  Tony is hungry to know more of God.  We pray that God will keep him and that he will grow more and more in love with our God.

MARY (Ireland) "The past three weeks in the School of Christ has been the most powerful, blessed and fulfilled time of my life.  The anointed ministry of God's word, the awe-inspiring presence of the Holy Spirit, the prayer, praise and worship.  It was three weeks of Heaven, a life time experience.  I know as I die to self each day and live unto God and allow Him to possess me as I completely surrender to Him, He will have His way in my life.  It's Jesus Christ living in me." 

BEVERLY (USA) "Months ago the Lord told me in the middle of the night 'if they are not preaching Salvation they are not preaching!' At the time I did not understand what I was to do with this message. When I came to Ireland I was interested in the School of Christ.  I liked the name but knew little of what the school was about. I was leaving my family and friends for 3 weeks with no use of the telephone or internet.  When I arrived I asked God to please show me His plans for me.  From the first lessons Pastor Clendennen taught I believed his teachings.  Through him the Holy Spirit was speaking Truth.  I was excited to hear more. It confirmed what I already believed. God has shown me without Salvation you can not know Christ. Through the lessons I am now ready to go out in the world to tell the lost the only hope of Salvation comes only by God's grace and through Jesus Christ when the unsaved accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.  Then they will have eternal life, they will know the Truth and the Truth will set them free."

MARY (Ireland) "When I came to the School of Christ I was empty and broken trying to work in the flesh.  It was so good to get a whole new vision of spending time with God and allowing Him to do the work in me, and to know that as I die to the old nature in me, by the power of the Holy Spirit, God will build up the new nature of Christ in me until ‘It is not I that liveth but Christ in me’ - what a wonderful hope of Glory.  Praise the Lord"

MARY (England) "What a privilege to meet pastor Clendennen and Keith, and now to have been to the School of Christ, which has been such a blessing.  I now look forward to a closer walk with Jesus."

ROBERT (England) "I had a ‘vicious’ return of a hernia problem of some 15 years ago.  This however, was so painful that I could not stand.  I asked to be anointed with oil after which the swelling went down quite quickly and the pain went too.  After a couple of days where I experienced a little discomfort, it is now fully pain free for which I praise the Lord.” Robert has also had much difficulty in knowing how to pray as he aught, but God touched him and gave him liberty.  For the first time in many years he was able to weep in the presence of God.

MARY (USA) "I came to Ireland thinking this would be a nice adventure - have some Bible studies and see some of the country.  Well, it turned out to be the adventure of my life!  You see I attended my own funeral!   Pastor Clendennen brought me to the Word so clearly that I could see my great need to DIE TO SELF.  Walk in the Spirit and I will not fulfil the lust of the flesh.  I need to walk in love with clean hands and a pure heart as I have been created to be a container of the Creator.  Jesus Christ is everything!"

KENNY (Scotland) "I came to School of Christ not really knowing what to expect.  I found myself praying daily, early morning and evening.  This coupled with several hours of preaching/teaching daily left me in no doubt that I hadn't been walking with Christ but with other Christians!  Having completed the School, I now know exactly what's expected of me and there can be no compromise in this walk with Christ as He lives in me!"

JOHN (Northern Ireland) "I thank God that someone encouraged me to take the life-changing S.O.C.  I was struggling, dissatisfied and needed change for my family's sake and Christ's sake.  I found the S.O.C. to be exactly what it says for it challenges willing vessels to die to self and live for Christ.  This is achieved through anointed preaching, prayer and praise/worship.  In such a loving atmosphere I was changed through hearing the uncompromising Word of God that produced repentance, cleansing, healing and release.  I now know there is no other way to be satisfied and serve Jesus but to trust and obey completely.” (John 14:15)

TREVE (Ireland) "I came to the School a very troubled man, not knowing whether the God I had loved, spoken to, worshipped, was still with me or whether I had lost forever what I once possessed.  I had certain peace in coming here in that I felt that one way or another, here was the place where I would get the answer.  I leave now knowing the infinite patience, mercy, love and faithfulness of my Saviour Jesus. I have no idea what the future holds, except that I know Christ is with me, that He will never leave me nor forsake me.  I must not forsake Him.  I have put my hand to the plough - I must not look back. There has been such a wealth of teaching it is difficult to select just a few. How important is prayer?  As vital as the air I breathe.  The altar - the place of prayer, self-denial - the way of the cross.  Sanctification - more of Christ, less of me - dying daily to every ambition, desire of self.  Vessels of the Lord - the reason we are created - to contain the Creator.  Christ in me the hope of glory.  Our purpose, our meaning our message - to manifest the life of Christ through our bodies - Christ reigning - the self dethroned.  My prayer 'Oh God, make me the person you created me to be.'"

PETER (Ireland) "As a church leader I had come to a place where I really needed to hear from my Master for future direction. I needed to spend long periods in His presence and also in His Word. The School of Christ provided the place to do this. I was shocked that God had to clear out so much self & worldliness in me. The School of Christ message has come at a very important time to warn the Church not to operate without God. Post-SOC: The mornings have been an immediate change in my life. No longer using the "night-owl" excuse I set my alarm and up I get an hour before the family. Praise God for his help. A clear out of material possessions is underway. Mostly the knowledge that it is not MY life anymore but JESUS living HIS life through me - this is what is revolutionary to me."

SUSAN (England) "I thank God for bringing me to the School of Christ.  It's been a precious time and much heart surgery has taken place.  Pastor Clendennen was teaching on how to overcome thoughts.  When he was teaching on 'Reckon yourself dead to self and alive to Christ' it was as if I caught hold of that and the strongholds in my mind were broken.  Praise His Holy name.  I also thank God for healing me in the body and have gone home with renewed vision and commitment.  Thank God for this tool the S.O.C."

MARY (Ireland) "In August 2006 the Lord clearly spoke to me about attending S.O.C. in February 2007.  I had a great hunger to know Him more.  I can truly say I have met with God in a way I never thought possible.  He has done such a deep work in me that words can not express.  He restored my relationship with Him, changed my prayer life, gave me such a clear vision on how to go forward with purpose.  He put iron within me to go back to that place where he put me, to rebuild the gates of intercession.  My prayer is to grow in Grace and knowledge of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  To Him be the glory both now and forevermore.”

Further to these...a young Iranian gentleman, attended the whole school and was mightily affected by the Word. We believe God will use him mightily to minister the Gospel. Another pastor attended for a week with a desire to meet with God and as a result would now like all his leaders to go through the School. Bookings for the summer S.O.C. in Mungret, Limerick, which will run from the middle of July to the middle of August, have started to pour in.  When Christ is the subject and the Holy Spirit the teacher, one can not walk away from this spiritual boot camp unaffected.  To God be the glory, great things he hath done.
