Welcome
This Website is set before you as part of a burden to see the power and reality of a Heaven Sent Revival once again in our lands. You will find here much history on the early Pentecostal Movement in Britain & Ireland but also a wider spectrum of information on Revivals and Revivalists, Preachers and Prophets, Martyrs and Movements from across Church History.
THIS SITE IS IN A PROCESS OF CONTINUAL CONSTRUCTION.
Amongst the ranks of the early Pentecostals we find pioneers, prophets, preachers and persecuted saints. They carried a Pentecostal pickaxe and shovel to dig out trenches that God filled with a Holy Ghost outpouring. We are told that Abraham dug many wells amidst much opposition. When he died the Philistines came along and filled them in. It was then the responsibility of Isaac his son to again dig the wells. Sadly since the days of our Pentecostal forefathers Philistines have come along and filled these wells and trenches. Like Isaac we must take to ourselves an old sturdy shovel to again dig out the wells and restore a pure Pentecostal message and church. We seek not to go back to old fashioned ways but we do seek to go back to Bible Days. All the great Revival Movements of History simply sought to go back to a New Testament pattern. Each stood midstream against the compromise, apathy and heresy of their day. Each stood for the authority of scripture, the power of the Blood, the Revelation of Jesus Christ and a holy walk with God. Though doctrines, church government and styles of worship varied, they were the vessel for that hour to recover and raise up the testimony of God. They were the Levites of every generation that God separated and sanctified to the special task of carrying the Ark of the covenant, the Ark of His testimony back amongst His people. In both the Old Testament and New Testament there has only been one people. The Early Church, Waldenses, Lollards, Reformers, Puritans, Baptist's, Methodists, the Brethren and Pentecostals are all part of that one people who stood against every assault of the enemy and carried forth the Gospel to their generation. Again may God find Himself a Holy Remnant that will take up the Pentecostal mantle of our fathers and carry forth the burning Torch of Gods Testimony into a dark world.
"A religion without the Holy Ghost,
though it had all the ordinances and all the doctrines of the New Testament,
would certainly not be Apostolic Christianity..."
