Accommodation at Mungret College

The College building is about a 10 minute drive from Limerick city centre. There are a varity of shops, eating houses and conveniences within walking distance from the college. There is plenty of parking space for student vehicles. In the above picture you will see the college chapel on the left, the accommodation on the top floor, with the kitchen and dinning room on the ground floor to the right.
Corridor & Bedrooms

You will find on the top floor of the college the accommodation for those attending the School. The picture to the left shows the corridor unto which the student bedrooms are a-joined. To the right on the corridor are the dorms which hold up to seven students. To the left on the corridor are twin rooms. Each student normally has access to a cupboard and small bedside cabinet.
There is a male and female side to the corridor with a seperating door. On either side are two dorms, twin bedrooms and bathrooms. On one side is a laundry room where students may wash, dry and iron clothes.
The second picture shows one of the dorms where most students will stay during the course. Accommodation cannot be selected by the student. Only come if you are willing for such living conditions.
Shower Room and Toilets

On either side of the corridor are independent male and female bathrooms. Again if you are not able to share such facilities please do not attend. We cannot accomodate individual needs. All these facilities and rooms will be the responsibility of the students for cleaning on a weekly basis.
SOC Study Room

On the left you can see the first floor. Halfway down on the right you will find the SOC classroom where we conduct our classes when we have smaller numbers in attendance. This room can also be used for study in the evenings and weekends.
At the end of the corridor you will the SOC office where we store SOC manuals, CD's, DVD's etc for those who want to purchase them while here.
A small bookstore of material is also available.
Work on the College
Much work was carried out on the top floor of the college in order to have it finished in time for the first European School in the South of Ireland. We thank God for its provision, for all the work done and and the finance given to make this possible. There is still much work needed on the college to keep it in a state of usefulness for God's work.
