NEXT SCHOOL OF CHRIST - MUNGRET COLLEGE

The School has been used across the world to train up Leaders, Pastors, Evangelists, Church Planters and Missionaries who have gone forth into over 150 nations. It has been especially used of God to Revive mature Ministers of the Gospel as well as to train those newly called of God to go preach the Word of God. We are sending a call out to the Eurpean nations to those who carry the call of God and who desire a restoration of truth and the raising up of a pure New Testament Church to come join us in these Schools.

VESSEL of RECOVERY

The whole purpose of running the School is to stir the heart of a Holy Remnant that is hungry for the reality of God in a dark age. God has always used a prepared vessel for Revival or for a Recovery of pure New Testament Christianty. We are looking for a vessel to be Forged and brought forth out of these Schools.

The School is solely run by the Word of God and Prayer. We have no other scheme, strategy, technique, new doctrine or new manifestation. We fully believe it is Christ who is to be preached once more as the ONLY ANSWER.

Further Information

Travel By Air, Shannon International Airport (called the gateway to Europe) is a 30 minute drive from the College. By ferry, there are various ferry routes into Ireland, Cork being the closest main one. By Car, Mungret College is signposted off Quinn’s Cross Roundabout on the N20 to Cork.

Accommodation We can accommodate up to 40 people during the School; 28 in Dormitories and some in twin rooms. Bed linen is supplied but students should bring their own towell and toiletries. There are 5 showers and 3 toilets on the men’s side and the same again on the women’s side. A washing machine and tumble drier are free for use by students once a week.

Cleaning Cleaning rotas operate each week for each and every student to assist in the kitchen and with cleaning the College.

Course Fee We try to keep costs to a minimum; the price covers food (Monday through to Friday) and accommodation as well as the course fee. The fee for the School is 400 Euros. (€100 per week)

When to arrive We would advise you to get in and settled the Sunday night before the start of the week and get well rested as the first Monday will be the most intensive and tiring and every day starts at 6 a.m. including the very first day.

Schedule The School will last for either three or four weeks; The three week School will run from Monday to Saturday and will be fully catered for. The four week School will run from Monday to Friday, leaving weekends free if you need to return to your own church. during the four weeks we use Saturday's for a simple outreach. Remember that during the weekend you are required to provide your own food – self catering. There are supermarkets/restaurants within close proximity to the college. Also the kitchen facilities are available for your own use during the weekend.

Each day will begin with an hour of prayer at 6am followed by several lessons and ending with an hour of prayer. The prayer life and discipline of this school is essential. Students who are late for prayer or lessons or who fall asleep, will forfeit graduating.

Teaching The lessons will be taught by B.H Clendennen via DVD on a large screen which has been very effective the world over. The local School Director will also have much input in the teaching and running of the School. There are 158 lessons broken down into 19 series.

Meals and Fasting Breakfast lunch and supper is provided each day with a main meal usually at lunch time. During the school we will have one joint day of fasting and prayer but we would encourage you to fast more as led by the Spirit of God.

School Material Manuals, DVD’s, CD’s, tapes and books will be available. We also have a library and basic bookshop available.

Telephone/Internet Please note that there is no public phone on the College property and phones in the College are not for student use. The building has a wireless connection available however this is not always reliable. If you do wish to bring your own notebook/laptop that is fine.

Graduation Service An open graduation service will be held on the final Friday evening of the course. Those who have completed the full 4 weeks will be asked to testify to the work of God in the student’s life during the course and will receive a certificate of graduation. Please note this certificate does not give the student a HETAC qualification or any such educationally recognized qualification but is a certificate of recognition of full and satisfactory attendance and fulfillment of the requirements of SOC. Family and friends are welcome to attend this service.

Dress Code Students are expected to dress modestly at all times and to take particular care in being modest in going between dormitory, corridors and bathrooms. The graduation service is considered a special occasion and students would normally bring a suit/smarter clothes for that evening. The building is old and whilst rooms are well heated students should have warm clothing.

Follow Up If you want help using the School in your local Church or area please contact us. For those who have gone through the School we hope to hold 3 days of prayer and fasting at regular periods throughout the year. This will be a time to be encouraged, strengthened and challenged to follow through with God. These times will involve ministry from very able preachers whom we respect in the Word and who will be able to inspire the hearts of all those hungry for more of God.

Further Questions. You may have further questions that you would like answered before attending please feel free to contact us at: [email protected] or [email protected] or write to:
